*Official 2010/2011 Fromme Snow Line Thread*
More dirt/less snow on Seymour right now. Fromme trails have been slow to clear of snow.

A friend of mine and I rode Fromme yesterday. We had to push up to Bobsled but it looked rideable. We decided to go all the way up to Pipeline. It was snowing at the 3rd switchback and got heavier on the way up. Snow was up to our calves most of the way and higher on the Corners.
Pipeline was covered in slippery snow most of the way down . Snow all the way down until the Wood RollerCoaster.
We had a fun day but it sounds like seymour has more to offer at this point. If your going to ride this weekend I would give Fromme at least another 2 weeks.
I went up this morning March 12. Dempsey Braemar to Baden Powell is all fine but I hit snow on Mtn Highway at the drop off point but it was rideable except the switchback to Van Tan. Rode Bobsled twice instead of going up and Bobsled is fine.
Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.
has all this rain and warm temps had any effect yet? if anyone has an update that would be much appreciated.
I rode up Lower Griffen, King of the Shore, Roadside Attraction and down Upper-middle-lower Griffen today. All good, just wet like old times. :)

So I rode Fromme today. Rain, hail, sun and some snow. Awesome ride.
Took Baden Powell from Dempsey [HTML_REMOVED] Braemar. Good conditions, some water but not too bad. Hit snow by the fifth switchback on the climb up. Pushed and peddled up to Ladies (two to three inches of hard pack ). Some snow for the first 200 meters or so on Ladies, then it was fine. Good grip on the wood. Great ride.
Can't see it being worth going too much higher though
Went up from Lower Griff like DB - all good, road fine til the 5th, rode Crinkum - some patches but all rideable

Nice! Snow has melted to the fifth already. Looks like Fromme is back on the menu! :woot:
Rode Ladies/Lower Crippler today. Tree down across the road between the 3rd and 4th. Some snow from the 4th onward. A lot of snow from the 5th onward. The first bit of Ladies was fairly covered and likely would have made more sense to just cut in at the 4th and avoid all of the snow … from that point on conditions were great.

Rode bobsled today and it was MINT!
Best conditions I've seen all winter :D
Went up to pipeline today. snow was pretty deep after the 5th switchback. the snow only went down to right before the big wood structure. the snow wasnt too bad actually u just have to walk a bit over the flatter section in the beginning. The teeter was broken though. it wouldnt come back up.
Any update from today? Snow line was low this morning, but melted pretty good this afternoon. Any new under the canopy below the 5th?
Did Pipeline this morning. Ride up is OK (some snow but not much)until just past the 5th. Had to push the last bit to Pipeline. Top of Pipeline was rideable for the most part, but had to push a bit on the flat section just after the entrance (as mentioned before). After the newer woodwork, the trail was bare and really grippy.
Doesn't look like yesterday morning's snow made any difference. Good ride!
