just got back…there is quite a bit of snow from the FIRST gate even, had to push some of that, the can ride a bit as the snow gets colder, less mushy. No one has driven up, so no treads to ride in. Got first tracks down floppy (but its the hardest i've had to work pedalling downhill!)
One other bike in front of me probably did bobsled, which probably is a bit better. Past 2nd, it will be all pushing. King o' the shore was okay and lower griffen was quite packed from walkers and fun. there ya go!

Would it be worth going snowshowing up there this weekend then? Looking for some deep stuff!

snowshoeing would probably be the way to go…all that rain last night was especially good powder at grouse! Seymour thread says Bridle path is clear, i think i'll head over there instead.

Did Executioner today… on snowshoes. There is 1.5 to 2 feet of snow at the sixth switchback. Don't think there will be much riding to be done up there for a couple of weeks…

I don't know how low the snow starts as I didn't go up the road, came in from the west.

Lower lower Griffin was alright, same with the BP. Everything else out that way had a nice cm of sh*tty snow on it, really slick out there. where there is no snow though, the dirt is really nice.

I thought I'd check things out today, by the time I got to the second gate it didn't look promising. A lot of snow coverage on the road and it extended into the forest even at that low elevation. Ended up riding Natural High and Lower Griffin. Both were fine with a few slick spots.
