Trails were in good shape today but the woodwork above BP was really slick this morning even though they looked grippy and with no signs of frost. Must be the transition from lots of wet to cold temps. Likely OK now that its warmed up a bit.

Pipeline and the BP were awesome. At 11am the woodwork was very slippery but that probably improved as the day warmed up.
There's nothing better than an Orangina after cheating death with Digger.
We rode ladies around noon and the wood was still very slippy even though it didn't appear to be. I learned the hard way, unfortunately. It probably improved as the day went on. I'm guessing that it'll be awesome in a few days if the dryness continues.
Riding is more fun than not riding
that wood was the most slippery ive seen for a long time,it was still bad at 3 ish today on 7th and lower down.
yesterday, i hit a bobsled, several of my stashes, 7th, ladies, some gnarly one, and skull
pretty much all time up there
Rode Ladies yesterday just after lunch time. It was awesome - Digger has done a tonne of work. Ran into him at the log ride teeter section HOLY CRAP. If you fall you're swimming - he's been busy like a beaver and created some seriously deep pools. We chatted for a bit and after my ride I stopped at Cove and bought a copy of his movie - got to support the guy that supports my riding habbit by busting his ass on the trails.
did pipeline today top till the dubble roller coster thing had spots of ice but other then that it was dry , floppy bunny was frosty and muddy is spots , and bobsleid was good till after the drop's it got i littole slick
Can you scan some of those photos?
The pic I mentioned is page 102 top right, 1st switchback. Sorry for the hugeness.
Since I probably violated copyright laws I'll add that this is from Time Travel in North Vancouver, by Sharon J Proctor, and its a rad book.
my grandma always tells stories about how they used to walk all the way up mountain highway to go skiing back in the day

mine used to as well, talk about epic days close to the city as they would have to take the ferry across burrard inlet as well.
Anyone know if it snowed a lot on the 5th the past few days?
Rode to the 6th on Wednesday, def no fresh snow and there was maybe a couple smallish patches of old snow right on the switchback.

Nada. In fact 7th is probably pretty clear these days.
