Was able to ride most of the road until about half way between the 5th and Ladies (except the switchback corners), then the track got narrow and couldn't keep a line.

This. I went down Pipeline and it was pretty much all perfectly ride-able. I was a little worried about what it was going to be like while slogging up the road, but worth the effort.

ARRG! I wanted to ride Pipeline today but wussed out at the third switchback and did Kirkford instead. I thought it would be too thick and slow. I met a guy who had hiked and snowshoed up Ladies and he described it well as "awkward".
Kirkford was a mixed bag. Slow mush, hero dirt, running water, more slow mush, frozen ruts, hero dirt, etc. Fun but hard to know when to giver.
All the lower stuff I did was great. Bobsled, Roadside, Natural High, Immonator

were you the guy on the grey reign I talked to by the second gate?

Yeah, that was me. I was obviously climbing slower than you because I didn't leave the second gate long after you did.

I rode Bobsled today which was totally clear and then did a lap on Floppy Bunny which had a bit of snow at the top drop in and then it cleared up as soon as you hit the jumps.

The climb was ride able up to both these trails no problem. It looked like quite a few people were going up a lot higher. I expect Ladies and Pipeline are still doing great.

going above the 4th switchback today….well let's say I was reminded why clipless can suck at times in the winter.

I went up as far as bobsled this evening and there wasn't even a slight trace of the white stuff to be seen. Lots of water running down the mountain in various places as well so hopefully the trails higher up are clearing nicely!

Rode to Pipeline today. No problems. First sign of snow is switchback at 5 and 6. Few patches of snow on Pipeline trail but nothing too gnarly. Snow on open sections of road past Pipeline.

A bad day of biking is always better than a good day at work. Hee, hee.

I'll have to text BEFORE I leave for a ride.

Rode pipeline yesterday, it's clear and really nice

one of alternate line closer to the bottom, bridges supports seem to be broken it felt like it was pretty close to breaking.

There is also a tree down close to the BP exit it's laying across some telephone lines.

Lower Oilcan was clear. Snow's still up past your knees on the 7th Switchback.
