Good to see as it was closed for quite a long time.

soft opening last weekend...  apparently official opening this weekend.  Still snow on CBC so don't trash that trail.

I rode New Ned's on Saturday. I have to say I was pleasantly suprised.

It's not the same as Old Ned's, but I had a lot of fun riding it. The re-route on the lower half is well done. It's not dumbed down too much but I was sad to see that short steep ramp half way down is now gone.  I do miss the jankiness but I suspect I will get over it.

I'll be janky again.... just give it a few more thousand riders and some atmospheric rivers. Old Neds < New Neds.

Rode New Neds yesterday and was pleasantly surprised.  Definitely easier than Neds, much of the challenge is gone, but surprisingly janky still. Seems a very challenging place to build trails, and it must have been enormous an amount of work to build the new trail sections and rebuild old portions by hand.  Huge credit to the builders, appears they didn't ram a digger down the trail.  As LoamToHome mentioned, a few atmospheric rivers and it should be good again.. Probably end up jankier than Neds used to be..

Definitely some triangle/wedge shaped wheel destroying rocks on that trail. It's fun and fast, kind of hard to watch for said rocks at trail speed.

Climbed up and rode it this weekend. Tons of work put into it. Not even recognizable as Ned's anymore in my opinion (which is either a good or a bad thing depending on your preference). A few janky moves still left on it, and man it was DRY. Some of those rock areas are getting pretty slick with the fine layer of dust on top. Kudos to the trail builders who put in all the work!
