FVMBA will try to get a map up shortly to clarify.

Deactivated trail. Reactivated logging road. Semantics!

Young guy shoveling on Heckle, please stop doing anymore work. Dirting existing stuff was fine but building new shitty jumps without permission, digging pits 5 feet from the trail, berming up sections that will make a fucking swimming pool when it rains shows me you dont know what you're doing. The last thing i wanna do is spend my time pulling out hokey shit from the trail, which is what I have to do now. Actually Id appreciate it if you'd remove anything new and fill the pits you dug.

Please not another shovel in the ground. Pretty sure you work at Caps in Maple Ridge, so if you see this good, if anyone here knows this chap please pass on the message. Thanks

Other than some trail closures during the actual logging and road building the trails should not be affected that much.

Talked to the logging contractor today as he was finishing up. BLine the Toadstools, Giant Killer and Blood Donor are all open. You will probably have to get off your bike as there is some slash on Stovetop and watch for any equipment on the new road as it is being finished.

Was thinking of making the trip over from Vancouver tomorrow. How are the trail closures looking? Worth the trip?

Yes. Everything is riding well except the very top of Stovetop and the Trans Canada Trail.
