TBH, I don't have the time to spend a bunch of days on PBR and I can't speak for Ewan.
Knowing the work that the prison crews have done in the past, I'm not sure that going this route would make the trail significantly better than it is now.
PBR was created mostly as a rake and ride and, personally, I wouldn't be horrified if it continued in that manner, unless other people pipe up and want to take it over.
