All lower trails in the Woodlot and all trails on Thornhill are snow free and running fast.
Feel free to post here or on Trailforks about the trails in Maple Ridge.

You posted in the other thread at the end of November the woodlot trails will be closed for 2 months. Is the logging completed early?

Logging on Goldmine/PBR is ongoing until February

Great thanks.
Had a great woodlot ride today. First time on Mandatory caution. Very cool to hit wood to wood features again! The dirt was mint and lots of great work going on up there. Thanks for the work guys.
Glad you liked it bro! Trail needs more riders. Cheers

Your work is still holding up nicely and is still one of our Favorites.
hope to see out on a trail soon, Cheers
Mission Forest has completed their falling and hauling on Goldmine and PBR.
They have advised me that their contractor has cleared all logging debris from both trails and that they were forced to reroute a few sections.
Has anyone been up on either trail lately that can confirm this? I have been very busy in other areas and haven't found the time to get up that far.
Thanks,
Ryan

I rode up to PBR from the top of Snakes [HTML_REMOVED] Ladders, so I didn't see any part of Goldmine above the cabin.
The top 50-60% of PBR was affected by the logging activity, and all of the reroutes are located in that part of the trail. Basically, any part of the trail that traversed away from the ridge beside the creek has been reconfigured to follow that ridge and the reroutes hook up with the original line where possible. The trail is clear and rideable, but it's pretty different from what was there before. Everything below the rock roll is unchanged.
Note that there are two trees down in the fastest section at the bottom of PBR.
Also note: The bridges on Tsuga are slippery.
Source: Guy who fell slid off two of them. :dizzy:

Road above lookout at power lines that heads towards the top of PBR.
End of the road above the power lines, continues on for about 50m to top of PBR.
The cabin still exists.

Example of reroute. Most of the reroute looks like this section.
Reason for reroute. I'm not cutting through that crap.
This is what the TCT looks like these days. The rest of this section is a road.
New bridge crossing on the TCT.
"It's, like, so much fun."
when aren't the bridges on Tsuga not slippery LOL . Ry I have every Friday off , if you want some help hit me up , would have come out today but been running ragged getting ready to head to Williams Lake for the Enduro this weekend .
Oh yeah send Bradical a invite for the event in a couple weeks

Riding the Woodlot is on my hit list for this year. I have the smartphone app Fraser Valley so it's time to put it to some more use.
As I ride the easier black diamonds on the North Shore I was aiming to also hit the Black Diamonds and maybe a couple of Blues on Woodlot.
Nice reroutes.
You said it, not me.
Most of them don't actually ride horribly. Honestly, it could be worse.

Mission Forest has offered a prison work crew to fix up portions. Are they needed?
If it is just a matter of raking and minor dirt/rock I can always leave it to you and Ewan.
