Thank you… What's the red trail that runs basically from the 3rd to 1st switchback? (on the map I have it is south of and pretty much parallel to #16: Crinkum Crankum)

Also, are the trails running south from the BP marked? (such as #17: Quarry Court, #33: Skull, #30b: Ladies Only) Somehow I think I missed them all yesterday (I didn't have the map with me), and I ended up riding the BP almost to Mtn Hwy. I cut right close to the end and came out at that little drop just above the lower gate - the one the unicyclist did in NSX II or III I believe… :rocker:

Some are marked, but not at the trailhead. Just keep your eyes open and do some exploring.

Sounds like 38DD (I think that is what it was called), it was pretty beat last year and not worth the ride.

Lower Skull and Lower Ladies are not marked, you will need a local to point you in the right direction, as they are even hard to describe where they start.

I got up to pipeline on saturday, sunday, and tuesday (trying to get my climbing legs back). There's significant melt from a week and a half ago. It's now clear of snow starting at the first skinny before the new woodwork. There are two trees down at the beginning of the trail, right after the first or second turn, and another down right after that first skinny. Other than those, the trail is prime.

7th seems pretty hopeless, but I haven't bothered trying to go up past the 6th switchback

I went up on tuesday evening to ride leopard/kirkford/crinkum crankum. The road is clear up to there, but the bush has tons of snow still. You can barely find the trail head. I stumbled through the bush hoping it would diminish but ended up walking my bike and going waist deep a few times for a good few hundred meters. from the crinkum sign down was clear and in decent shape.

If you are planning to ride this trail, i suggest entering just to crinkem crankum from the 5th switchback, no need to up to the enterance at the bottom of 7th.

lots of trees down too - I cleared all I could but a few will need a chainsaw/big bow saw and some patience.

Sure hope that snow starts melting soon. Port Mann like traffic on the Bridal Path tonight. Pent-up demand is off the charts.

What's the current parking situatuion on Seymour? Do you have to pay at the Mushroom parking lot?

No, you don't have to pay in any of the lots on Seymour yet. Finding parking can prove challenging though.

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

this one kicks ass! 12" tree in 15 minutes. MEC has them.

I'll second that. Bought a similar one at Lee Valley after seeing yours in action at Greenstone. Much easier to use than the 'saw in a can', and still very light.

We were up there last night at 6-8, sorry to have missed you. Conditions were great but whole smoke was it busy, with huge groups or riders coming through. Looks like most are still respecting the closed CBC signs.

Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.
