Fromme conditions?

everybody pretty much rides when they feel like it, trail conditions be damned. you of all people should know that by now. ;)

i used to get worked up about people thrashing trails in the rain, but things don't seem to change so i've just learned to live with it. it just means rougher, more chundery trails that, in the end, keep people away.

Most of the trails I like involve a lot of pedaling, so not many people ride them anyways ;)

Yesterday was such a fun ride. UOC, Ladies, lower Ladies, NH. Clear on the way up, then it started hailing, and there was an inch on the ground when we got down. Made for some really interesting, totally entertaining conditions.

Yesterday I took UOC to Pipeline. Too sketchy for anything else. Plus my gloves were wet when I started, so my fingers felt like wood. Could not feel the brake lever, which makes for some very interesting riding. Snow/hail everywhere made the wood not so much fun.

Did you drop by to see if I could come out to play. David said two suspicious characters banged on the door at about 10-10:30, and I thought of you? Sorry I was ill in bed and have a buggered knee.

Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.

snow starting at 4th switchback. Ladies had a little snow and the wood was a little more slippery more than just the rain.
