If there's no longer a huge log across Grannies near the top then someone must be doing something to it.

Digger is working on Grannies. The intention is to keep it very much as it is, just fix some small things. No major overhaul. Less is more would be a good way to describe what he's doing.

No need to worry about it being changed into a flow trail.

Digger has the permit - i believe its his first trail, or one of his first. The roots are part of its character, so hopefully they remain.

I love that trail. It needs a bit of love but really it's an awesome line as is. Just a little tidy. Anyone know if there will be an official trail day?

Planning for 2015 trail days is just happening now. It would hinge on what work Digger has planned and if he feels he needs help. He does like to work alone on things.

If you see Digs on Fromme ask him if he wants/needs help. Never know he might say yes.

That's too bad. For all of some peoples' complaining about dumbing down the shore you'd expect a good turnout to give a boost to an old classic.

Not really. All the volunteers are now well trained to dig gold! Imagine 30 eager volunteers looking for projects on Grannies.

Bone dry all the way to 7th yesterday. I hit 7th to Leppard to CC to Kirkford. The new berms on CC are awesome - just what that trail needs. The new swoops on Kirkford are super tight for my bike so I have to take them pretty slow but they're still really fun to ride (and definitely a nice change from the chunder chute they replaced). Who needs snow when trails are dry and perfect?

Has anyone ever tried pedalling up Kirkford or CC?
