Was up Fromme yesterday and heard a bunch of trees come down below the 5th switch back. 3 big ones in the KOS/Griffen area.

big tree smashed into the last bridge on griffen switchbacks. the posts are sheared at the base, and the joists are the only thing holding it up. Bit of a trampoline. Im surprised the bridge held together!!

Props to Kirkford builder (Pete?)! I saw you driving out when I was on the road with my dog. Cheers!

Is the ground frozen yet?

There's nothing better than an Orangina after cheating death with Digger.

Seventh to Ladies to Lower Ladies all clear, no ice on the trails, tons of grip, still some ice on 6th switchback.

We were going go in to Skull but we got 100 feet in and had cleared at least a dozen trees that were very obviously laid there on purpose so we turned back. Trail nazi in full effect I'm afraid.

Did the family loop on Saturday after the boys soccer game. Tons of people getting at it and enjoying the phenomenal conditions. We've got 'em until Wednesday, so go get some.

Went and hit a warm-up on Floppy, then back up to an Espresso/Dempsey lap and back to the car on Mtn Hwy and Braemar. Kids still loving the flow of the new Espresso and good to see Digger walking the trail checking on his handywork.

Screen shot of the girl from the boys' GoPro. No one needs to see his 18 minute video… but he's watched it four times now. Training for Rampage and all that… good to meet you in real life Shirk!

7th was about as dry as I've ever seen it yesterday. Lots of grip. Ground was crispy in a few places, and there ice on the 6th switchback like others mentioned.

7th to Expresso (old entrance) is a pretty sweet lap. Mixes the old with the new.

Rode Expresso/Floppy Bunny/Natural High/Immonator today. All dry and in great condition. Expresso had a couple slightly muddy parts but hardly worth mentioning.

2 separate sections with logs across Grannies (chainsaw needed) both close to the top, before the Crippler junction. On Crippler, log across the trail about 1/2 way down, shortly after the long steep section.
