no way, you can see the snow on the trees just above the houses. Snowed last night just in Lynn valley!
Fromme 2014 Conditions
There's about 4-5 inches of snow at the first switchback.
tonight (thurs), pedalled and pushed and carried my bike up to 4th sb, and cut into the last 3/4 of ladies only. there was a fair bit of snow on the road. ladies had some snow on the trail and was pretty frosty, the woodwork was not super slippery but it scared me and i walked a lot. my friend who i was with rode almost all of it.
Mm. Seymour it is, then.
There is snow, lots of snow.
The lower trails (Griffin, Floppy, Bobsled) have a dusting and are still fine to ride.
We rode up the road in the compacted truck tracks. By the 4th we cut over to Ladies since it looked like we were going to get snowed out. Ladies wasn't a great choice. The woodwork is slick and the rollercoaster G-outs are scary.
Time to put the bike away again and get out the skis.

Kinda want to try Expresso tomorrow…
Rode Expresso -[HTML_REMOVED] Lower Skull on Sunday - fresh tracks the whole way down! A great day to test out the Spec. Storm DH tire I had lying around.
The snow is deep starting at the first gate. Definitely hike-a-bike the entire way up. The snow level on Expresso was almost too deep to ride at the start but was fun when gravity took over on the new sections. Woodwork was fine to ride, including Expresso Smooth.
The snowpack does not decrease much at the BP and the riding style remains loose all the way down Lower Skull. Give it a go!
Has anyone been up since the weekend?

Went up last night. It was awful. 6" of slush. It was hike-a-bike to Bobsled. The trail wasn't steep enough to get any momentum so it was almost 12 minutes of slip, slide push and try to pedal down. Couldn't wait to get outta there. The steeper trails would be a bit more slide-able but it would be an ugly slog up.

i also went up last night… barely ridable up past the first gate, 6 - 8 inches at the bathrooms… we had first tracks down KOTS and Lower Griffen, it was the longest ride down ever… The second half of KOTS was quasy ridable, but there is a good inch or more of slush under all the snow which just makes it all suck
Anyone been up today? Curious how the snow looks with all the nice sunny weather we've been having. Thinking about going for a pedal but if it looks too snowy I might just go street riding or something.
If you like to ride in quick sand it's awesome.
Looks like street riding on my brand new bike it is :)
I was thinking about doing Bobsled, Floppy Bunny and Natural High tomorrow. Anyone know the conditions of these trails?
Thank
