I like the new woodwork on Pipeline a lot. Just happy to see New Woodwork in general! Makes the transition onto the maze smooth and adds a little spice to the trail. Thanks a bunch!
Checked out Lower Crippler and it is pretty much destroyed by erosion, The big newer bridge over the creek near the bottom is broken in half too. A fall line braid has developed beside the rocked in switchbacks. Definitely a trail looking for some love!

Snow starts to cover the road about 100m before Executioner, bit thicker at 7th, can pedal the road all the way up…

7th was pretty much clear, dusting on the trail til about 1/2 way down.

Beginning of Ladies has a bit of snow/ice on the woodwork, giving it a bit of a slick feel.

Good times!!

^ about the same as above yesterday.

The woodwork is Farking slippery.

Things weren't so bad a little lower down (Picnic table at Ladies)

Yah, all of 7th was totally rideable but the tires did kind of have a mind of their own on the rocks and especially the roots..

Yeah, all the snow is above 7th:

On my way down to hitting the trails off 5th, someone made a weird comment about me not riding 7th on a bike with 60mm travel, shitty v brakes with $2.50 brake pads blah blah blah, but it was such a blast flying down the fireroad in the snow with my dawg loving every second that it never occurred to me to even turn into it… I'm sure it's the same as always though.

I remember V-brakes in the snow :o

Headed up to 7th shortly, I imagine it's the same as it was - slick but rideable. Will report if otherwise.

Rode 7th, Espresso, Baden, Natural high, Griffin Switchbacks yesterday.

There was one patch of ice on the ground on 7th and Espresso, and some of the woodwork had some frost/minimal ice on it. The big log rides on 7th were covered in ice/snow so I'd avoid those. All else is in great shape.

Right near the beginning of Crinkum, just after coming off Kirkford at the third switchback, there's a ton of broken glass. I stopped to see if I could clear it, but it'll need to be raked or something. Looks like more than a dozen broken beer bottles. Thankfully, I didn't flat!

Ride, don't slide.

Where's the snow lie these days? Anyone know if it's clear up to expresso?
