Friday Jan 3: the road is snow free up to the top of Upper Oil Can. There are some compact snow [HTML_REMOVED] ice patches from there to Seventh. Seventh is snow and ice free other than the roll-in at the start. It will probably be a different story tomorrow if it freezes tonight.

What's closed on Fromme right now? I seem to remember reading about a seasonal closure on Bobsled and maybe Expresso, and wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be breaking any other rules as well if I manage to get out for a ride today.

I did not ride either Bobsled or Expresso yesterday, but I did not see any closure signs posted when I rode by the entrances. I saw people rolling into Bobsled last Saturday.

I don't think either close for the winter as far as I know. Rode Expresso on Wednesday and it was in great condition.
Yeah saw people rolling into both. As mentioned above, the road was clear to UOC, then it was pretty icy to 7th. Wood on 7th was pretty slippery but the rock was fine.

Took the wife and kid up to Bobsled on Friday. The new reroute is awsome. Much more fitting for the trail skill level (my son has always balked at the old section).
Saw Digger working on the trail, wife handed him a $20 for all the good work he has done (hopefully gets the family a little trail karma too).
Keep up the great work everyone involved in "dumbing down the shore" or as I like to stay doing a f'ing fantastic job on making the trails more enjoyable for more people!

Bobsled was only closed when Digger and I were widening bridges, which was on and off for only 1 week. The re route was done as part of TAP and was finished in November.

Thanks for widening the bridge at the bottom. A friend ate shit there last year and the gap always freaked my girl friend out.
Went up today. Trails are still in great shape with small puddles here and there.
Bobsled is a lot smoother now, good work!
