Big tree down across upper griffin near the top. Chainsaws required i'm sure

Did an evening grind up to 7th last night. The road is clear but just after upper Oil Can the snow was still fairly heavy on the slope. 7th Secret was under 6-8", so we rode Upper Oil Can instead which was clear of snow but fairly messy and some blow down near the top but mostly rideable.

Here's the drop in to 7th Secret…

Upper Oil Can - Large tree down about 50m in, chainsaw required, lots of branches on the entire trail. Worth the extra pedal up to it.

Bookwus - Snow for 1st 200m. about a dozen trees down over the whole length of the trail, most require a chainsaw. Plus a few dangerous snags next to the trail. Branches everywhere, cleared as much as I had time for, lots more.

Suspect 7th might be the same, unless someone has started cleaning the trail up.

Anyone who has a chainsaw and wants a hand to clear up the upper trails, I am game to help. Hopefully they have a key as well, so the hike up is minimized.

I'm in for helping clear all three of those trails, moving flats this weekend but got time after that.

Rode up to 7th on sunday. Trail is as advertised. Snow on the 150m. LOTS of downed trees on the trail. Chainsaws required.

Last 2/3 of trail is awesome tho.

Expresso (old line / gnar option) has a few decent-sized trees down, including 1 over the brake-bridge bridge. I have been clearing with my hand saw, but if somebody chainsaw-equipped could spend maybe 15 mins or so on the line I will do the cleanup.

Nice job on the new line too!

Took a hike up old Expresso line, moved the chainsawn big stuff off the trail and picked up most of the rest of the little stuff. The woodwork has all been cleared too (not by me, thanks to whoever did that work).

Great to see Expresso smooth is back in one piece, and has a little brother now too!

yes, old-school / gnar espresso was cleared today of any fallen trees. the new work is quite impressive and quite the contrast to the old line!

bookwus was also cleared. but would be nice if people could give it a pass for a couple weeks or so, as it's pretty soggy up top where the snow is melting.

top of 7th was also cleared but there's quite a bit of snow up there right now, so logs were cut and left for riders to move later when it's more clear exactly where the trail is. bottom half of 7th was already cleared.

Trails are in mint condition. Big thanks to builders laying down gold in little spots that were needing love. Some sweet surprises out there!

New Expresso is awesome, tons of flow and fun. Thanks to all who put in the hours to work on the trail and make it awesome. Seventh still needs some chainsaw TLC.

Big thanks to whoever cleared the trees off most of 7th. Now if you could please do something about the snow at the top…=/ Still a bit of a slog to get past the snow and remaining trees buried under it but the rest of the trail is in good shape and well worth it.

if you were still on snow, are you sure you were actually on the trail? nothing is on the trail below the snow that riders can't easily pick and move aside.

I was probably off then.
