There's actually another pretty gnarly looking rock roll drop right next to that trail. Are people still riding those or are they relics of the past?

I was up there the other day with one of my friends who'd never ridden the shore so we hiked in and I showed a couple things to him.

It had definitely been hit in the last few days/week. There were brake marks at the top and on the landing. There was fresh dirt on the roll in and the landing had been built up since the last time I looked at it roughly a month ago.

People definitely hit it, but they're not mere mortals like myself…

Yeah looks like a tricky one. As if the cherry bomb took their panties off and went commando :) seems like there is a lot of room for errors…

I rode Grannies recently. As always my feelings were "what an amazing line" followed by "this trail needs some love". Great trail but its flow gets a bit disrupted by its condition. Still totally worth riding (if it's dry!).

There's nothing better than an Orangina after cheating death with Digger.

I went down Grannies for the first time a month ago. There is a small blue arrow sign about a third way down pointing riders right. So obviously I went left. Was I on upper Crippler? It was wet that day and there was some seriously committing lines on that lower down.

Fromme was great this evening. This was my final Shore ride - back to Oz next week.

Ladies was my first and last trail here - lots less walking this time! I'm going to miss the riding here for sure.

Is there a better ride-out on this planet than Natural High/Immonator/Griffen? Great stuff!

Cheers Ben

This will sound stupid to many locals. Has air supply ever been rebuilt? Is side show still there?
Thanks

Full grown black bear on upper skull tonight, 7:30ish, near Diggers around-the-tree drop. We scared the crap outta each other. I backtracked and came down the original Ladies exit… He stayed put as far as I could tell.

That was some crazy rain last night! Rode Expresso in the rain this morning and was very impressed at how the trail held up, almost zero puddles and no water damage or water streams down the trail. The unfinished lower section is a different story.

Also FYI the optional log tech feature at the entrance of Upper Oil Can has been chopped off. (Photo taken on tuesday 27th)

chopped off and unrideable or just cut down to be level with the road?

I hate having those moments. Make you wish you had tried all those times you looked at it.

Rode it today, it was shortened about level with the road and the top of the log is angled down towards the steep so it's less of a transition into the 2 x 8 that was there before.
