Wife just called me from the Baden Powell and said it was snowing pretty hard. I'm still going to check it out after work though. Fresh Tracks for sure!

Was ridable up to ladies/pipeline tonight. Pretty cool climb in these conditions!
Snow on the trails almost down to BP elevation but still ridable. Like the climb, much more interesting.

I'm hoping I can bring a pineapple express back from Hawaii tomorrow.
Sounds like low elevation riding on Sunday. Oh well, off to the beach for more surfing..

I rode fromme today. Snuck into Ladies at the 4 switchback Climbing started to suck right about there - snow started around the 3rd switchback but it's melting fast. Should be gone in the next couple days.

Ladies is pretty snowed in, best to sneek in like buddy ^^^ but most of it should melt, pretty slushy in some parts. Big stupid is clear, Lower skull is gnarly steep and surprisingly dry…

Avalanche report says the North Shore freezing level is 1000m or more. Should I infer from this that it's raining at the entrance to Ladies? By my calculation the Ladies trailhead is at around 600m?

Rode Expresso last night. Theres a snowy patch on the road right a Ladies, but that's about it. We had to walk for a bit, but could pedal again at the entrance to leopard. It looked like you could climb higher too. It looks like things are melting fast up there.

Expresso was pretty fun, but anything wood was very slick.

Finished up a ride on Fromme tonight. I saw that last post and I was optomistic. There was still some snow at the 5th SB and at the entrance to Ladies and Pipeline. I headed up higher shooting for 7th but as soon as I hit the Espresso and Oil Can entrances it seemed like every 100m I was off the bike pushing through a snow patch. Then it started to really flurry and I headed back down and rode Pipeline out. Pipeline was in good condition, just really wet as expected. Maybe after a couple more days of rain we'll be able to get up higher with a little less pushing.

After all, bikes were made to pedal not push…;)
