Any word on the snow line on Cypress? Heading over from the island on the weekend and hoping to ride.
Thanks

^ All of the trails below the third switchback on the road should be relatively snow free.
has anybody rode up brothers creek fire road lately? wondering where the snowline is on that side
probably pretty wet and muddy still.

So a pedal up the BLT to Slippery Canoe[HTML_REMOVED] Upper Tall Cans should be clear?
There's nothing better than an Orangina after cheating death with Digger.

Slippery Canoe might still have a bit of snow on it, but Upper Tall Cans should be clear.
Small amount of snow on wild Cherry but rideable yesterday. Roaches all good. Firehose was awesome!

I went up the back way, up Eagle Lake Road. Lots of truck traffic. BP has put no trespassing signs all over the road that goes past the power station to the BLT. Probably not a big deal when there's no construction work going on.
Not sure what all the truck are doing up there but it sucks. Is there another way to get to the BLT other than pedalling up the main road to the third switchback?
Wade's book mentions the fern trail that links Firehose, Sex Boy, etc. Could you get on the Fern Trail where it meets Firehose and ride west until you connect with the BLT?

If your goal is a bit of an adventure and to climb the majority of BLT then yes, you could. However if your goal is just to get to Slippery Canoe from near firehose you might as well spend 10 more minutes going up Cypress Bowl rd.
I am not aware of any issues riding the full BLT as of yet, I believe the no trespassing signs might be more directed to four wheel traffic when the gate is open. There was a bit of construction/excavation going on yesterday just above the Powerstation but no-one blinked an eye as I rode by.
snowing and sticking pretty good at the 3rd today, trails are fine but wet.
Anyone been up this week? Thinking about some good friday laps.
Snowline updates?
Was up there on Tuesday. Raining/Snowing at the 3rd switchback. Blind skier parking lot is full of snow, unusable, still snow in the trees at that elevation. Everything from 3rd switchback and below is snow free.
Which lot is blind skier? Is that the one across the road from mystery?
Yup
