so i walked down gearjammer yesterday with the kids rather than riding the top part of mel's. the upper part, up to just above the intersection with mel's, is in great shape - not sure if because its not getting ridden or it has actually been getting worked on
we rode down mel's, north road and dead moped back to the truck, all in good shape. the only sketchy part was the off-camber pavings stones at the bottom of mel's - are those things ever not slippery? pretty funny to watch the boys riding over wet roots and rocks without fear after freaking out about dusty conditions in squamish a few weeks ago. true west coast'ers
edit: the pump track, etc. will be a very welcome addition to an already pretty kid-friendly mountain  and for what its worth sync, my son loves that long boring bridge on jim's jungle
