Has anyone ridden in the last couple days…was thinking of doing Lower Burke laps this weekend…from Dawg and lower. Snow? Ice? Any info would be appreciated!

Dawg,Hustler, Franks are all rolling really well. If the temp doesn't drastically warm up,you should be in for some awesome laps. Its gonna be frozen and icey, but the grip is like concrete. Mud is pretty frozen so no getting dirty either.

Thanks! This weekend is looking a bit warmer but hopefully that Burke mud stays mostly frozen!

I hit Lower Elevator then cut across and ended out down by the river. Lower Ele. was nice, tacky and clear, but the other line had quite a few blowdowns…….they were for the most part hand-bombable, and tossed to the side. Awesome conditions !

Conditions were absolutely awesome on Sunday! So nice to finish a ride on Burke nice and clean! The work on Braap is awesome. Kudos and thanks to those who worked on it!

Its coming along, still a few tweaks here and there.

I was a little put off to put it mildly, to find a braid that I blocked on the last corner of the trail, reopened. The muddy holes in the corner have been filled and there is absolutely no reason for it. Its like a slap in the face after all the work recently.

Rode up there Sat and Sun and trails were running hard and fast. :rocker:

Frank's is a bit of a mess.

Flywheel, is a total mess half way down. Ankle deep in mud.

It's been that way every winter since I've been riding mtb's. It just one of those trails that you don't ride when it's wet, it's just not enjoyable.

franks is a mess? which line? rode the far right last night and it was fantastic. someone's been doing work on it as well (i assume frank)

and yes the middle section of flywheel needs help. used to be ladders in there but they've all rotted away. the lack of the right type of lumber close by makes it a PITA to fix. fun trail in the summer however.
