Check out www.gutsploder.net and have at'er! Loraux never dissapoints and can be ridden on any sort of bike

- on their site its called bigguns -

bigguns is bigguns, and lorax isn't on there. that map hasn't been updated since the logging a couple years ago.

There is an updated bear map on fvmba.com. look under trails / bear in the menu.

Edit. Saw the initial link after I had chimed in. Sorry for the repeat.

A good xc extension to the corduroy climb is to tack on corral loop before heading up Bomba.

cool - I'm thinking we'll do that loop up, to the top, and then pick a route down from there…and maybe do two loops if time permits…

What's a typical ETA for bottom to top for two generally fit guys on xc/all mtn's?

if you are riding up corduroy, keep in mind you will likely encounter riders coming down the trail very fast. I personally only recommend climbing it when there isn't anyone around (like a weekday morning)

We are riding on Friday morning - I'm totally fine just doing the fire road up as well…

Corduroy is running great, both up and down.
Biguns, Lorax, Luge, Sorcerers apprentice all good and draining well.
Jolly Rancher has water running down it.

Cranks climb is slick and challenging, fun doing down though!
Bomba at the bottom is pretty wet and slick. Great bridge work but this must be the wet side of the mountain.

there,s also a new sign at the pond with a map of the mountain showing all the trails .

and big thanx too all the crews working on the trails making that mountain so much fun to ride .
