If you have a cell phone with camera with you, you might be able to deter him if you take a few photos. :)

Ledgeview is running great. Mixed bag is a bit mucky but trails otherwise dry.

Squid line has some mucky spots, is getting wider but otherwise running great.

Saw a smallish black bear running up squid. A little bit after the second service road crossing.

Couldn't get a photo as he was pretty weary of my presence.

There's a beginner trail that is an access point off of the subdivision at Westview Blvd/Applewood Dr. and connects with the main McKee Road climb that goes to the tower. This trail has been a dual direction beginner trail for years. I'm sure there are many names for this trail depending on the users. For at least 10yrs now, my ride group has know it as Ruben.

Anyways, I was in hiking it with my 4yr old yesterday and notice that someone is starting to convert it to yet another gap trail leading into La BiteMe. There are many gap trails in the corridor that filter from Da Plow/SOB to La BiteMe. Re working an existing and known dual direction beginner trail into a gap jump trail is a poor decision.

Does anyone know who these builders are.

Has anyone been up Squidline since the recent rains?

Matt. I was down La Bite Me about 10 days ago and saw a couple of 18 year olds building there. Probably the same guys. My wife and her girl friends use that connector trail from Westview to the main climb and they don't like the changes much either. Many people call that trail 1:41. I expect you can reach out to the young fellows on Pink bike. RM

Thanks. FVMBA is now working with some of the land owners for the trails on Ledgeview. They have asked us to take stewardship of the trails up there. Legitimate signage is soon to come. One of the things the land owners don't want to see is the development of another gap jump city on Ledgeview.

The north side of Ledgview is great these days.Especially the north east side.Someone has been reviving some of the old trails. There is some great building with lots of berms and table top jumps and easy step downs. I am not sure who has been building but they are doing a great job,They also seem to be doing a lot of maintenance .Unlike Sumas which is very punched these days
