Mount Seymour Provincial Park – access restricted to some lower-elevation trails. Parking and road access are closed.

Not a huge deal, unless you prefer to shuttle.

Yeah, it does suck for self-propelled snow activities.  I think that was part of the issue, lots of people up there in the evenings, possibly becoming SAR incidents.

you could do it up traslin style and bike up to the ski hill and then tour up to the top for a rip down.

I ran down Ned's today and met two guys cutting the massive tree across the trail near the bottom with a pocket chain saw.  Impressive effort... they said they had been going for about 30 minutes and were only about 1/4 through.  Shows as all clear on Trailforks now, so thumbs up to them for that.

Also talked to the gatekeeper on Seymour Road and they said biking up the road is all good.

not a Traslin but i saw a guy riding up with his skiis strapped to his bike on Sunday.

FFS!

Several times, ive run into people who are coming down GSM.  I cant be the only one.

Same problem in my my area-  e-bikers climbing the descent trails. 

Short sight lines, blind corners and e-bikers in boost mode going the wrong way. What could go wrong? 

Talked politely to a guy on his first wrong-way lap last week, rode right past us and climbed a different descent trail on his second lap.

I've met a guy heading up Boogie Nights on an e-bike, but not an MTB.  With the shiny new bridge at the exit, I think he assumed it was just another general purpose trail going up from Bridle.  I let him know it was a downhill (and often high speed) primary, but he didn't seem to care.
