It's almost March. Let's start a new topic shall we?

Saw some pics on Instagram from yesterday (Wednesday) and there was a lot of wet/rotten snow/slush all the way down to Sticks n Stones. Was hoping the rain and slightly warmer temps might get trails clear for Sunday (when it is forecast to be +10C and sunny) but not sure it will be enough.

I tried to get out on Seymour last Sunday because but realized quickly that a better option was to go for a walk in there with the dog (instead of go for a walk with the dog and bike)...and from the ground I covered sticks and stones below Bridal probably would have been fun on a bike. The rest, no go. My guess is sticks and stones is probably good to go now

Rode up as far as John deer this morning,  only the odd patch of awkward snow, rest totally rideable. ☺ came in/up from hyannis no problems . GSM from John deer onwards was walkable only. Great fun though !!!

Saturday afternoon, ended up climbing Old Buck (50% hike) to Pangor, which was 70% snowed in, and then to Boogie Nights which was in great shape.

Should have gone for more of a pedal across the Bridle Path, which seemed pretty clear of snow, but still had lots of fun.

Bridle still has patches which get bigger as you go past severed entrance , buck has a few in weird places, pangor is treacherous for the first 1/3 as far as I could see, severed has light snow and ice as far as the turnoff to c buster. Deere is running great, so is boogie nights, I'm guessing that boogieman will have snow/ice until 1/3 of the way down to the same height as Deere.

I rode Pangor yesterday and other than a couple of random patches of snow it was good fun and running totally fine

Amazing what a few days have done! Some snow still sticking around on power lines, around the new severed entrance.

I rode Dales and Forever After late this afternoon, and apart from small snow patches under the powerlines, both were in excellent condition. Most of roots on Dales were, unbelievably, dry :-)

Wow, snow receding quickly then. It's warm and raining now so that will help. This weekend should be excellent.

Thank you builders for the new dirt and rebuilt final berm on the Incline powerline flow exit. Also new dirt on the Boogie Nights connector area after the awesome new cedar to replace the wind storm damage on the swamp ladder bridge.

Pangor is pretty rough in spots.

^^^ this.

Boogieman is running so good right now.  Thanks for all the love, it's definitely my favourite trail on Seymour.
