Finally!

There's nothing better than an Orangina after cheating death with Digger.

We should set up a BBQ and bonfire near the second gate or higher up and create enough runoff to kickstart the season.

Several trail days to dig out the snow and ice may be more useful!

I originally read Tiki Torches by mistake.

Then I was waiting to see if we needed to show up in white shirts and khakis.

Just white privilege lol. But seriously what's going on with the snow?

Anyone got an updates on Fromme?

I snowshoed up Espresso two weeks ago and Mtn Hwy had about 18" of snow then. What's the melt out been like since?

climbed up from Dempsey yesterday (Monday), up for the kids etc to BP, then across to the parking lot, all totally clear....... but from the 2nd yellow gate (parking lot) upwards on Mt highway still loads of snow and wasn't very ride-able. made it to upper Griffin which was snow for 100 yards then fairly clear.

hopefully the rain today and tomorrow will clear it a bit more.

March 23-snow starts at Grannies, hard to ride after Air Supply. Expresso and Grannies all dirt all good.

April 4th

First section of Leppard is slushy up to that bastard uphill S bend that I always fail to clear.

Then it’s tacky goodness all the way down.

Yesterday’s hailstorm hasn’t affected anything. All woodwork is good. Even ol’ Slimy log roll on crinkum

The work going into the NQ climb is unreal.
Saw Peter hard at it a while ago, dunno if he is doing it solo or not but what an improvement.
Props

Heard rumblings of this on Trailforks... I need to go check it out, I always went up Mountain Highway because I spend so much more energy on NQ... but that may change. Added benefit of not having to go back on the BP at the end of the ride.

Its still a grunt up NQ, hoping the ribcage near the top gets sorted, its even more brutal now after all the traffic erosion.

They are also punching a new trail thru along the contour from the Dempsey Connector just past the bottom of Lower Skull back to Mtn Hwy so won't have to ride the Baden back. They have it flagged for the first part so far. Going to be a great option for riders and foot traffic.
