We haven't experienced this in awhile.

An extended period of snow on the trails.

for consistent updates use trailforks after your ride to update trail conditions. This is a great resource that is made better by your input!

Posting here works pretty well also Sharon and Lee.

Kirkford was incredible today. Big berms in all the switchbacks and amazing grip. Best ever conditions. More riders will just make it better so get after it! Bobsled was a little sketchier - especially at the bottom - but still a blast.

Kirkford is so fun right now! Same with roadside attraction. Seems funny even typing that but it's true. Lol

All the snow rollers and berms that have built up make some of the trails even more fun than they are in normal conditions.

The responsible trail builder can sign up for email notification on Trailforks and be immediately aware of reports about issues on their trail. It's important we hear about "running great with no issue" as often as "tree down in the section by the big Boulder". The more detailed the report, the easier it gets to deal with. Ie should I hike my saw from the top or the bottom of the trail.

Rode it today and had a blast! Almost sad to see the snow go.

oh man SOOO fun!! I think this weekend was the perfect lil window in between too icy and then too soft. The snow was like beautifully sculpted dirt.

Congrats to everyone that got some laps in!

Lower gate is locked so I parked on Coleman. Past the gate was clear until around the Bobsled exit. Beyond that it was still very icy or crusty snow. I bet by the end of next week's warm spell we will be in business!

Went for a walk up from the bottom, didnt get much higher than the bp before hitting unrideable snow.

Past the third switchback the snow patches get longer and more regular. Kirkford was a waste of time also. Sketchy snow ruts all the way down to the skid road at the bottom.

Tree down across the Baden Powell, about 100 meters east of EXpresso exit. Big hemlock about 3-4' in diameter.

Fire road slushy but mostly rideable to third.
Kirkford sucked- boot holes and snow pack from before gets punctured too easily. Bobsled super fun but it might ice up at night

Went for a walk up dempsey trail monday. Dempsey, Pennzoil, St Marys, BP all snow free and amazingly dry. Wish I brought my bike!
