Correct. It's the role of the land manager.
We all need to respect the land manager and let them manage the trails. They've committed to reviewing the status of the trail in the fall. Let's stay positive and engage with them during the review.

Def NOT Digger. Very old structure near the beginning of Starfish. Hasn't been there for years, it pretty much rotted away.
That feature def. wasn't on Starfish. Lower Digger as I recall - after you cross St. Mary's. And it didn't rot. It was in great shape. It fanned out toward the bottom. I shot Joe Schwartz riding it a few years ago.
I hiked from Cypress Ski Area to Eagle Buffs two weekends ago. I've never seen trail erosion and braiding like what happens on a hiking trail.
