Heard the Lynn Valley fires flared up again. Any news from those living on the street? We're 2 blocks up so can't see what's going on

put out 3 more tonight, they were set on either side of the creek bed from the trail head to lynn creek.

for now everything has been extinguished, but we will be on the lookout and doing daily walks along the creek bed to make sure no more show up.

boggles my mind that people would actually do this

theweathernetwork.com Vancouver forecast for Friday, July 17 calls for 100% chance of 50+mm of rain. I'm calling bullshit on that one. I think they should clean the Jolt Cola out of their forecast computer. :dizzy:

a week-out forecast has 100% chance of changing significantly

that was a rule of thumb for the old climate

(old rule of thumb was 50% chance tomorrow's weather would be the same or different, now its 50% chance next week's will be different)
