Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

don't be so politically correct, this is stacy kohut, not fucking rick hansen your talkin too……..
I haven't ridden since labor day weekend…so like 4 months. I ride my 50 every weekend though…
like 3 weeks
6 months when I broke my elbow.
I haven't ridden since halloween. I probably won't for another 3 months…
When I'm in a slump of too much riding (usually 3 times per week), I pick up a shovel and hammer and go fix a broken stunt or dig some drainage. It's great therapy, and seeing how many people are out riding just makes me want to ride again.
Try trail building. It's fun, and really quite addictive!
But to answer your question - no more than a week or two at the very most.
Ive have not been on a mountain for over 6 months and before that, a year. It seems all we do these days is ride street:(.
3 days for me, but the bike is gonna need some TLC for a while.
