He's 6,1 so I'm thinking he should ride a large at least. 5 and 5 fully should fit the bill. More XC fitness, than Freeride madness.

Price point 1500 to 1850, needs to be reasonably new. So no old clunkers, that are "like showroom new".

Show me what you got for sale.

You'd need a fork and a wheelset, and some other small components. It is more FR, although I used it for AM for a few months, and with a 6" fork it climbs reasonably well.

Being cheap is OK. Being a clueless sanctimonious condescending douchebag is just Vlad's MO.

Lol. Well I can throw in a WTB wheelset and Juicy 7s for an extra couple hundred, but you'd be on your own for shifters, rear derailleur and a fork.

Go to Caps Westwood Cycle at Rocky POint Plaza in Port Moody and get a brand new Giant TranceX4 for around 1300 or 1400 new.
Get hime to join the vancouver mountain bike meetup group and get 5% off the purchase, basically don't pay tax. No I don't work there I know Dave who runs the store though. Trance X4 is 5 and 5.
