hey buddy, they are just about done. The 3 jump lines are done. The pump track is being built. And Im pretty sure they are building a seating grandstand sorta area.

The whole place is pretty much the raddest jump spot I've ever seen. All 3 sets have 8 or 9 jumps in them and end up back at the starting hill. No walking, no pedalling. The small line is pretty much like a juiced up pump track with multiple lines.

Go check em

…but they're not open for a couple more weeks!

I dropped by as the builders were having a Friday afternoon beer and a few guys were jumping both of the big sets on BMX. The "medium" set is still quite large, and will not be jumpable on big bikes unless the rider is seriously skilled. It's tough to keep enough speed to round the berm after the third jump and clear the next one. They are well built and coming together nicely though.

Didn't get this kid's name but I'm sure we'll see him there often, he's super smooth.

The signs still say Keep Out and the jumps aren't entirely finished. Some of the dirt is still hardening up. So no, they're not open yet.

I've heard thru the grapevine that they should open in 6 days. Anyone to confirm?

this is painfull going by them and not being able to ride them. its like someone baking a dozen chocolate chip cookies, putting them on a plate in front of you and telling you not to eat them as they walk outta the kitchen.

If they leave it much longer theyre gonna get poached.

oh yea - anyone selling a 20"er?

I'm ignoring Smedley.

I took a quick look at Earth Ramps Face book page. Someone stated that it won't open until the 25th of Sept. And judging by a couple of comments, I'm glad that I have a 24" BMX as mtb's may get a sour welcome? Whatever. I just hope that the park will open sooner!

It's because people on MTB's usually don't bother to smooth out ruts they make or divits in landings when they case.

BMX'ers believe if you spend more time riding jumps than you do maintaining them then you're doing it wrong.
