When I was getting my arm looked at by the EMT he told me he was working on a trail nearby that had a bridge 1/3 km long! He said he was gonna call it "old school" since he couldn't use power tools to build it(cause of the fire danger). This was three weeks ago so it should be done by now. Anyone ride this yet?

Rode it on Tuesday. You enter off of Hornet [HTML_REMOVED] it's just one long ladder bridge with a steep rollout at the end. Pretty cool, but not too exciting. It shakes a little, which makes it interesting.
I'm quitting organized crime; from now on I'll stick to the regular kind.
old school will be even more interesting when it's wet:eek:

Got that shit right:rolleyes: Its a 10 min or so DH (minus doobreaks) and a 30 to 40 min linup to get up:swearing: I hit Sun Peaks in early Oct. last yr and there was like 8 peeps on the whole damn mtn. Of course now I hear S/P is on evac alert so i guess I'm S.O.L:banned:
Are they running Fitzsimmons and gondola at Whistler this yr?

You might want to be up there around the th 22nd.;) I'm not saying I heard a rumour that they are opening up the upper runs this year to give people a taste of what's to come. I'm just saying….

Old School is open?
On the 24th it wasn't.
Where does it end… to me it looked like it was just an alternate line from the Hornet "rockface" (if you can call it that) to the end…
it goes to glc drops i think
yeah bro!!
old school ends right above the GLC drops
So it's lower than the Hornet exit?
I can't think it goes much lower…. but then again I can't figure out how they could fit 333m of bridge inside the lower half of Hornet.
