Updates on InterRiver?

Need to be in North Van tonight, but the boy wants to go dirt jumping instead of trail riding.

Mountain air in Burnaby is en route, so that would work.

But what is the status update with InterRiver? Is it open yet? Is the pump track built? Any remaining skills features (i.e. - drop area)? Nice that it does connect to some quick loops if the energy and time permits.

Or is Loutet a better choice?

Thanks in advance.

Haven't been to InterRiver in ages. Last I went it was just the BMX type track, dirt jumps were gone.

Loutet was in very nice shape.

BMX track is updated and the jumps are quite different (steeper) but pump track is not yet started.

Thanks very much! We'll swing by and look. Gaps in all the jump lines, or some tabled?

Bmx track is beautiful but the dirt jumps and skills park are long gone.

Give the district a message and tell them how you feel about the skills park. Only way for them to get it together is if the public puts some pressure on them because everything else is clearly not working.

A dozen well worded letters from tax payers and voters would push the ball in the right direction.

I'm going to write them tonight. Its really unfortunate how difficult it is to get anything moving in this area. A variety of people, especially families, enjoyed utilizing Interriver before it got flattened.

Are they not putting in a pump track?

They?

The DNV owns the land and decides what will be done with it and the pace it will be done at. They are driven by voters and taxpayers. If voters and tax payers are happy with status quo, so are the DNV.
