Unreal Cycles

Alright…back in August i ordered a 3pc crankset from unreal cycles. Went nice and smooth. I recieved the crankset pretty fast, but found out that i needed a different spider from the one sent. I called up Ben and he said he had one in stock and would exchange it right away. I sent mine to Unreal in the first week of September…now it's mid October and I havn't gotten it back or heard anything at all. I emailed the shop three or four times and tried calling too. I'm getting pretty fed up now…riding season up here is rapidly coming to an end. :mad:

It's probably not Ben's fault. Shipping and customs can take a long time. I waited for 3 weeks for a package to be shipped from Unreal cycles. When I checked the shipping date, it was right on time as Ben had promised. It was stuck at customs for 2.5 weeks.

It may have had something to do with him moving the shop…….order could've been lost or something. All of my experiences with him were great - I'm sure if you just talk to him it'll all get worked out.

yeah, my dad got ahold of him today. i guess he hasn't shipped it out yet, but will right away. there was some confusion. :???: hopefully shipping won't take too long.

ben moved shop a long time ago…

and if he said there was a mixup, then there was a mixup..hes a one man show (minus his wheel builder) and he does an amazing job with how thin he spreads himself sometimes…

if you want, i can bug him about it in a few days if you havent seen the item…im going to pay him a visit to pickup some stuff that he just got in for me…

Unreal Cycles kicks ass.

He is a one man show and likes to ride more than sit at work. If you call him and make sure he is aware of the small details (like exchainging a spider :rolleyes: )…you get rewarded with exceptional customer service (he REALLY stands behind his products), amazing deals and selection of gear better than any other store I've seen or heard of.

in the future, try calling and being polite and intorduce yourself with your name followed by the situation.
