have fun. there's no trails in edmonton that i know of, and i've never heard of any. i've never heard of any within a few hours driving either. although this spring work will be starting on a freeride park in Red Deer so that's about an hour and a half or so drive. although there are quite a few riders in edmonton, and there is also supposed to be quite a bit of good urban.

MiKeY is right. There is nothing Edmonton except cops who give out tickets for riding on the sidewalk.

haha me and brodierider went there this summer. Its ok. If your willing to haul ass around the city there are some sweet stair sets and such for urban and then a few nice little drops out at Mills Creak. If your looking for a good shop head over to Hardcore Bikes on Whyte Ave. The staff there is awesome and they have great service, and they always have organized rides, they'll show you around!
Have fun!

is there more than just urban there? After all i was looking at a new Big Hit or Banshee before i found out i was moving, i've got a feeling that this is going to throw my technique and stuff in the trash.

if you can, grab a hardtail before you leave. the hardtail will be much more useful there.

these shore style trials are about 20 mins north of edmonton in near stony plain. they are on private land so give the guy a e-mail and he should hook you up he is a pretty nice guy and is gonna let me ride them :D also other good bike shops are river valley cycle and snowboard on whyte soon to be on argyl as they are moving to a another bigger store and redbike nice small relaxed place great staff. also if you want we could organize a group ride with some of the guys in edmonton and take ya for a rip. last time i went i had lots of fun. ask deaner he was there. oh yeah i live like an hour northwest of edmonton
