Hi Everyone,
I am working on a film project where the central concept will be around BC wildfires, and the process of secondary succession.
The piece will be filmed in forests that have been affected by burns, and I wanted to reach out and see if any of you have recommendations on areas to visit? The closer to Whistler the better, but I have no issues with travelling to the interior.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Myra-Belleview Park (Crawford) in Kelowna is in a burn zone.
Gillard and Crawford in Kelowna, no question.
Della Creek near Lillooet also got taken out by fire. Kevin, shar, myself, and Chris D put it back together after and the trail's resurrected since.
Todd will remember more clearly but iirc there's some Pemberton trails that also suffered fire damage/ Resurrectum/Owl Creek area I believe? Also the bottom section of Jack the ripper too

not that I recall, lee….I rode Tenquille a few weeks after they wrapped mop up on the fire, that was super rad…

Banger! We rode it the next year when fireweed was coming out but before the sun dessicated the trailbed
