Hey everyone on NSMB

I am looking for advice to where to take my Specialized Demo on the North Shore, I have the locals guide to the shore book. How is Ned's Atomic dustbin? This is my first DH bike. I have a Devinci Hardtail and have been riding the trails around the Richard Juryn loop only. Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

Unfortunately you'll need an 'Advanced Rider' permit to ride on Cypress.

Joking aside, there's a world of difference between riding down an old hiking path (Mystery DH) and hucking off Brutus. If an old pussy like me can ride down MDH on a 100mm travel 29er, XC lid and no pads in the pissing rain, I hope someone on a Demo can get down there.

The difficulty with mystery comes with the speed that you try to carry. I'd say it would be easier than trying to drudge a dh bike through a lot of the other parts of the shore.

Ned's is a great starter trail. It's all armored so a great way to get your feet wet on The Shore….. Just some advice, if you don't feel it, walk it….. NO ONE IS JUDGING YOU. Good luck and have fun bud.
