How long can you trackstand for, say not moving forward or backwards for more than a foot?

So many freaks, so few circuses.

I can brakeless trackstand as long as I want pretty much, one-handed too. Also, trackstands pointing downhill are the hardest. I usually do trials-style and hop a bit in technical situations, like trackstanding on skinnies and stunts where necessary.

I am very close to mastering the no handed trackstand.

As long as I want.

It is a very important skill to learn and master.

I can barely track stand, maybe a minute or two. But I can ride skinny skinnies very slowly. Go figure.

Werd,

turn your bar to your bad leg side, lean your bad leg's knee to your seat(or your stanchion to your headtube if you have DC) and rock sideways. and DONOT use your brakes.

I can, but hardly use it on the trails, maybe if i'm lining up for a skinny. Falling takes way less effort though….;)

Rolling trackstand (which I think you guys are talking about) - 5 minutes at least - never bothered to try for longer.

Trials trackstand (the real trackstand) - 30 seconds tops.

Whats the difference?

plus, if you turn your front tire slightly uphill (ie on crown of road at a light) its super easy.

trackstands are easy. its all about the trackstand to backflip.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.
