This is all starting to sound rather incestuous.

When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity.
When many people suffer from a delusion, it is called religion.
After all these years, now we find out that skid is enduramils father.
Hmm… that would explain my dirt bag habits.
And my mother in law's too.
Hmm… I'm rapidly approaching 40 and the memory is fuzzy. There's about 5 years of repressed memories in there.

Just another part of As NSMB Turns.
I think that was closer to 94, I still remember the TOAD he was riding. I had just gotten a Kilauea at the time because I couldn't afford the esspresso I was looking at. Back in those days I would have killed for either a Dekerf or a TOAD. Come to think of it, I'd probably still do that for a good condition original.
I still have my DeKerf Team SL….green.
Unfortunately, my Romax (#206) with custom green/purple fade was stolen years ago.
this romax is pretty sweet (albeit small size):
i've got a similar spec on my '90 (fluorescent pink) klein - xt group w/ cook bros cranks, but really have a need for some vancouver built fillet brazed steel.
another - (too big, and a few crap component choices, but rad paint):
Ha! I haven't seen Syncros forks or a Hite Rite in quite some time!

Those aren't Syncros forks though. They are Brodie versions. The steel fork legs bolted sideways to an aluminum crown. Love those chairs we used to run. Looks like a loaf of bread.
Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

Didn't Tange or pre Trek Bontrager make a version as well?
Speaking of vintage bikes from the early shore era.

Yes. Bontrager was possibly doing them first (1988 maybe) but this handsome chap had some Bontrager Competition forks circa 1990 (a year or two later in this photo):
Maybe not the most 'North Shore' photo you will ever see though….
treezz
wow you are a ass
Switchblades they were called. Then came the Syncros I think.

Of course…it's all coming back to me now!
I just got a mint condition Switchblade from a friend. He bought a Concorde and put a Manitou 2 on it right away. He'd had the fork in his basement since about 93.
alright!!!
