Site preparation for Area 6 was passed by DWV on Monday. It's taken 8 years, but it's time to say goodbye to the sections of Sex Boy and Shore Play below Fern Trail.

The scheduled closure dates are:
Shore Play - Monday August 22
Sex Boy - Monday September 26
Anyone want to organize a farewell ride?

I am gonna go ride (walk!) them for the first time, before they're gone.

rode it today. mostly a hike-a-bike, as I expected. but cool trail, and too bad especially that the huge rock roll is in the section that is being lost starting… tomorrow? I guess that will end up being a feature in someone's back yard, that or it will be blown to bits.

Fences are up at Fern Trail. Please use Sex Boy or Sex Girl Connector.

Lower Shore Play is permanently closed. RIP massive rock face.

I meant, it was for me.

The video a few posts up shows it can be done with no undue fuss. Envious!

Squagles can talk smack now that the trail is closed. I actually backflipped the whole rock slab, it's really easy, I'd show you but it's closed now lol.
