ummm CBC has a volentary closure..
u cant get a ticket if you stay off the trail at this time of year…
its good karma…
thx for the heads up thou…
You can, but you have to go further up
i rode cbc today and the park rangers were out lecturing people on not riding in the provincial park.
if you are caught riding in provincial seymour park you are automatically fined $115(think thats what he said..) and if you provide them with incorrect information you will be fined $4000 and be arrested….
thats heavy…..
the rangers were riding down cbc and telling people they saw

can't get enough of that sodium benzoate…
i fine for riding cbc ?
no, cbc is fine - we met the ranger guys on the trail today - good guys (on their shiny new konas). they were only giving warnings to those parked on the side of the road (should be in the lot anyways..)
let me rephrase that
trails that have been closed in provincial parks-you will be fined on
pangor boogie corkscrew pingu etc are all legal
teh trails that you will be fined on would be hangman, aftertaste, 3 chop etc..

thats aload of shit they should be open all year and corkscrew should be open
Corkscrew is open.
Don't park on the side of the road. Go further up the road, and use the big parking lot on the next switchback.
With another trail day (or two), and continued work by trailbuilders, the rutted parts of CBC will be fixed up and it will hold up in the wet much better. Otherwise, try and stay off of it if it's wet; you're only making the trail worse, and adding more work for the builders.
