You know I've spoken to a few people that were enthusiastic about them. During the conversations it dawned on me that the thing these people had in common was total lack of common sense. I mean…dumb…as…dirt.
And, somehow, I happily find this very reassuring and I'm not really worried about E-bikes anymore.

after the keruffle in that other thread with norona, at least he finally came clear with where he was riding the bike and what the rules and regs are. so seeing as he was riding that bike in an area that allowed it i don't think it's fair to be crapping on him for that. if he'd been riding on the shore then that would be a different story.

Yeah show up at the Dirt jumps with skinny jeans no helmet and an E bike!
E bikes do not have the power to roost dirt up hill. Gravity is all you need for going fast down hill. So whats the big deal?
If its closer to an electric motor cycle than there is a by law preventing motor cycles on the north shore trails.
Oppose E bikes? Its just a new toy. I think E bikes are cool. I see many people using them for commuting. I commute by bike.
I have yet to see an E bike on the North Shore trails.
