The shed - campsite: question

Can anyone tell me the history and current status of the campsite in the shed?

I doubt it's being used for camping, but it looks in too good shape for something that may have been abandoned.

Scouts use it for camping trips. Every once in a while you ride by to see a couple of trucks and vans parked outside with a whole bunch of 12 year olds filling the site.

I've never seen anyone using it. I think I did once about 3 or 4 years ago…

Thanks for the word. I looked a bit father and found the telephone number of the person that takes bookings for scout groups that wish to camp there. The reference was on the FVR scouting web site, but I'm not sure it's current.

Hmmm… Maybe I'll book the site and spend the a weekend there with my group.

The though had occured to me, but I think it's owned by scouts canada, and I'm not sure if they'd like a bunch of roudies like us partying in there :p.

Maybe if we called it a "Shed Bike Club Retreat" or something thuogh and did some trail work too…
