I was going to say Hyannis as well. I took my kids there (3 and 6) and they did great. Nice and flat and smooth.

Seriously check out the coquitlam river trails, nice and flat with few roots and there are a few small hills to practice on as well as large gravel roads to cruise. Very good beginner stuff. Cross the road and it get's a bit easier but still green horn worthy.
