Smoke and Pollution

Rolled back into town after being in the Okanagan for a few days.
Have to say the air quality here is pretty bad, the pollution on top of the smoke isn't helping.
You guys been out riding in these conditions? Rode Seymour last Wed and it felt pretty borderline.

Thoughts?

The smoke is bad, the pollution non-existent (before the smoke) as far as I'm concerned (having lived in TO for 15yrs).

I'm an idiot, put in a 4 hour ride in Squamish Saturday morning (but kept intensity dialed back on the climbs) and two bike park days Sunday/Monday. I feel fine today but likely not a healthy decision.

It's usually not bad, but with the lack of breeze off the ocean that usually blows it to Chilliwack daily, I for sure have noticed it.

It gives me a headache for sure. As luck would have it my bike needs a bunch of work that won't be doable until next week so I've got some enforced downtime. Forecast for rain this weekend.

Did a quick rip up to 7th last night after work, could see blue sky at the trail head. Didn't feel bad an actual set a climbing PR somehow (attributed to new lighter bike).

In Whistler I've been riding near the rivers where it's cooler and the heavy cover seems to keep the air a bit cleaner. I'm also keeping it slower so as not the breath so hard. I'm thinking of using a breath right strip so I can use my nose more for breathing. Nose filters a lot better than the mouth.
