What war in the woods? In my 30 years riding off road, the only confrontations, if you could call it that, are from grumpy looking hikers that I have stopped for to let pass and said hi to. I am sure there have been collisions and other close calls, but I really don't think its a very common thing at all.

MC reminds of those mythical Japanese soldiers stuck on a Pacific island and were never told that the war was over.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

I could tell a story about the time I almost took out a poodle and it's owner on Mt. Constitution.:D

Way to go Macleans. The slant on their story is that we're ripping through the woods at high speed and around blind corners, scaring the crap out of little old ladies on multi use trails.

Fantastic.

Can someone confirm or refute the following statement:

Tineke Kraal sabotaged dedicated bike trails. They were neither hiking or mixed-use trails.

True or False? Such a salient point has yet to be mentioned in any news article I read.
