Velocity in Langley and Cranky's in Alder-Ghetto have always been good to me.

Experience Cycling in the Ridge. Sadly, now devoured by a shop voted 'Most Likely To Be Slagged'.
I'm looking for a new shop so this discussion is timely.

Reps to the "experience" that was. Wentings in Mission is my new(somewhat)LBS.

props to shops who support trail maintenance

Steed and Different, and a bunch more great companies (not necessarily shops) come to mind with this years TAP program on the shore. Who knows what next year will bring?!

Matt at NSBS once built me a wheel overnight and delivered it to me in Coquitlam.

I really don't know if that can be topped.

Matt at NS Bike Shop does my service while I wait cause he knows I come a long way, really appreciate that

Wentings in Mission fixed a brake and bled the set at 7pm on a Friday night cause i needed the bike the following morning. I went around the corner for some sushi and Bruce called me to p/u when was done an hour later, all this on a busy race weekend, very appreciated

James at suspesioworx always goes above and beyond to keep me running as my fat ass keeps blowing up rear shocks. Even met me on a Sunday morning to install a rebuilt on my bike on the way to whis once, very appreciated

agreed. lou knows things

lou knows things no sane man should ever be made aware of.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

man this jordie guy is getting rave reviews!

A shop in Kelowna was also good

the owner of chainline cycle on ellis did me a solid last summer - i got to town with my bike in pieces and had forgotten/lost the plastic preload thing for my cranks. i stopped in while running an errand and explained my situation: he pulled one of a bike on the floor and gave me the tool, told me to bring it back when i was done

Obsession for doing it right and fast every time good guys and great work!!

The raw, primitive, unrefined trails that see little to no maintenance are the kinds of trails that really build skill. What kind of skills do you learn riding a trail that was made by a machine, groomed to perfection and void of any rocks, roots or other obstacles that could send you careening over the handlebars?

Obsession… years ago Matt came to my house and installed a fork on my bike for me in my own basement :)

Marz Canada. Naz knows how to sort it out.
Obsession: Any time I've gone in there, it's been for something unusual, and every time, they've figured it out.

gotta agree with both of those
