haha - stephen quinn interviewed the guy on the early edition (cbc) this am. just caught the tail end, alas. mad skills, for sure (i could care less about public perception of the sport; dude has talent and is owning it. more power to him). even with the larger diameter wheels, i'm amazed they can roll over some of those surfaces.

I'm having trouble placing the coaster at the end of the video. What trail is that?

Edit: never mind, it's CBC

I think buddy should be wearing a helmet, but other than that, good on him.

x10 about the helmet. Does he skate the entire trail? I guess there are probably sections that are not much fun (walking), but don't make the cut for the 'sick edit'.

My first thoughts were;

- Red Bull Crashed Dirt coming soon to a mountain near you.

- How long until he appears in a NSX video?

i think if the wheels where a bit larger and had some mini disc brakes on them so you didn't have to drag a blade/boot to slow down it would be worth trying out.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

You people are dead to me….especially you,Splinky. I expected better.

First "flow trails" and now frootboots. Where is the "shorecorps" when you need them? ……prolly pavin' and bootin' on a trail near you.

Ha ha, CBC says this video is viral!

YouTube says it has 104,000 views and 474 likes. I guess that would qualify as high viewer numbers for CBC, maybe even "viral". I'm so tired of paying for my national news to be "reporting" on YouTube videos and Facebook pages.

Not disk brakes, but they do have brakes:

I feel like this is the kind of thing, that if we just ignore it, it'll go away. Hahaha

So the brake drags on the tire, which has a tube jn it. The next mtb standard?
