Heartbreaking news this AM that Jordie passed away after a crash in Mexico yesterday.

I love Jordie for how friendly he is. What an incredibly tragic loss.

I only met him a few times but I’ll miss him. There was something right with the world that Jordie was able to be Jordie, doing his crazy stuff. It’s not the same today.

I am speechless.

Me and my son met him at this year's Loose Fest. All those years he has been inspiring and open, and at Loose Fest he was approachable despite his pretty gnarly appearance.

My condolences to his partner and family, as well as his friends.

My jaw dropped when I saw the headline on PB this morning, Huge loss for the community. Rest easy.

His tree drop was insane. It still amazes me when I watch it. RIP Jordie.

Darren Berrecloth was with Jordie when the accident happened ... and tells TMZ Sports "We were riding a mellow trail in Mexico and he came up short on a gap jump and hit his head."

From Pinkbike.

RIP Jordie. You were a great guy doing what you loved with friends.
